Thanks to everyone who helped me out during the process of the install. This thing is awesome and I'm still learning all it's tricks. And yes...the first trick I learned was to change the illumination to yellow. Thanks again.

Chevrolet told me the reverse wire is light green but I didn't hook it up yet and it seems to work just fine. And yes, I got if from Sonic Electronics on Ebay. The cheapest place I could find.

The invoice I paid for the Avic-d3, wiring harness and mounting kit was about $853. I am sure others paid less because I got nailed with the CA state tax. I did pay a little less though because I went and picked it up

The price is good considering Best Buy sells them for 999.99 !

Mine was $737.49 shipped. And like switz said, it came with the mounting kit and the antenna adapter.

I'd say it's a little incovienent

For example, today I decided I wanted to watch Star Wars Episode I and I had to pop out my navigation disc, hence losing my navigation

However, you can program your route while you have the navigation disc in and pull it out if you want to watch something
