I got an issue with the heater is putting out a burning smell almost like burn wires. Iread up on the blower resistor and the wiring harness. If all four settings work, could it still be the resistor and harness that is going bad?

You shouldn't be getting a smell when the blower speed is set on "4" as the resistor module it bypassed. Speed "3" connects together all three resistors in the module and will cause the most resistance in the circuit.

Thanks. Yes, I noticed the burning smell when I had it on 3. I'll take a look at my harness this weekend. I'm just glad my heater isn't completely out as its getting colder up in AK.
