Colorado & Canyon Fog Light LED Bulbs

Diode Dynamics carries LED bulbs for replacement of your Chevrolet Colorado & GMC Canyon's fog lights, in all major sizes. They are available in HP, XP, and SLF styles. This will make your fog lights a nice bright white that closely matches factory-equipped HID lighting! Just simple plug and play, replace the bulb and you are good to go!

Diode Dynamics offers the brightest, highest-quality bulbs on the market. Your order will ship same day, and we're here if you need us for support and service. These LED bulbs are designed by our engineering team here in St. Louis, and every bulb carries with it a three-year limited warranty.

Brightness:

Diode Dynamics offers several brightness options so you can choose what fits you best. These options are listed by the design and the lumen output of each bulb, compared to the factory bulb.

HP48: 265 lumens. Slightly lower brightness than factory.

XP80: 510 lumens. Similar brightness to factory.

SLF: Street Legal Output. Much brighter than factory. These are bright! Made in USA!

Bulb Design

HP48: This bulb is designed with 48 Epistar 3014 LED chips. Thanks to the cap on the top, the light from this High Power Bulb is shined backwards and away from the bulb, not straight out. This means the output is excellent, because it uses the vehicle's housing completely, which then shines the light much more uniformly.

XP80: Each of the four sides of this bulb contains three 5W-rated chips, and the top is fitted with four more, under a projector lens. This is the brightest self-contained automotive LED bulb on the market, and is housed in an aluminum casing with a textured finish for maximum heatsinking properties.

These bulbs are made up of a quality plastic connector to slide right into the plug, as well as high durability terminals. A load resistor is embedded to prevent blowing the LEDs from voltage surge, and a diode is implanted to protect the LEDs from reverse polarity. The LED is wired for 12V operation, the kind found on all modern vehicles.

Included in your order is TWO BULBS (to fit your Chevrolet Colorado / GMC Canyon).

Diode Dynamics' products come with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and a 3-year limited warranty.

Re: FS: Fog Light LED Bulbs! Several Brightness Options! New XML2 Added!

How about LED headlights in 9005. I rarely use my highs, but I'd like to replace them with something other then factoty replacements or another HID kit (already have them in the lows and fogs)

The XML2s are suitable for fog lights and high beams, but we still recommend HIDs for the low-beam location.

The bulb size/type shouldn't have changed in 2007, so you can order as a '07-'12.

I would love too see these installed.

But that's a lot of $$$ for lights.... Then again I'm cheap :cookie:

Nick @Diode Dynamics

Have yall tested the XML2 to make sure it fits in the high beams? I can't remember off the top of my head the spacing between the headligh housing and radiator core support.

I know the space behind the headlight housings of my Tahoe is super tight

We have a note for all of the XML2 listings that the XML2 LED requires an additional 2" of clearance behind the bulb socket.

It will fit the socket the same as OEM, but I suggest checking your clearance first to make sure you have room for the XML2

We have a 2015 Colorado in the studio right now! Expect to see a lot of new updates soon!

It's been a very pleasant vehicle to work with

Let me know what you come up with. I've pretty much swapped out all my current halogens to LEDs:

Mods:
LED headlights
LED fog lights
LED high beams
LED reverse lights
LED license plate lights
LED visor lights
LED dome lights
LED switchback front turn signal lights

We will have listings available for all of those things. Install video for the fog lights and switchbacks have already been completed. Working on a few more today

I can't stress enough how easy the fog lights were. It's an H16/PSX24W bulb size for the 2015 Colorado.

The XML2 output shots should turn out nicely

Here's a recent example of our switchbacks in 5000K on a 2014 Raptor:

It really looks good on the Colorado

They fit the 2015 Colorado thanks to it's massive dust cap (9005 bulb), but I'm not sure if they will fit previous generations without modifications

Typically requires at least 2" of space to be safe
