confused on my 06 throwing p0017 code :(

Just got an 06 crew cab 2.8l, love it. but a week into it check engine light came on. p0017, changed the timing solenoid, and the camshaft sensor, code still exists. Parts are aftermarket and not oem, got them from oreillys auto parts. Truck seems to drive fine. When its in park, ill rev it and itll rev then it falls below idle like its going to stall but it doesnt and it just goes back to normal. Never stalled on me until yesterday, stopped at a stoplight and it stalled on me. but no shaking or anything.. i didnt even realize it died til i went to take off. but it started right back up. Confused and dont know what else to do! I tried cleaning the tb and maf.
