Hey the AZ guys are trying to set up a day to get tunes done and I want to jump on board if I dont have to buy new credits. I had a local shop turn my passlock off so I bought credit, can you use those or will I have to buy more?

I am not sure on that because I always use the same guy and only have had to pay the $100.00 credit thing once on each car.I do not know if it stays with the guy or with HP.

You will have to pay again unless you go to the same guy. It only unlocks your vin for his tuning device.
Bingo. To me the one inherent issue with HP tuners.

For the GMT355 I4/I5 credits, it takes 6 credits to unlock a year/motor or 2 credits per truck.
The GMT355 V8 guys it's 12 credits to unlock their year/motor or 2 credits per truck.

Once a year/motor is unlocked, you can tune unlimited trucks for that year/motor.

I am an authorized HPTuner dealer and can HELP out on the credit$. pm me for price$:th_woot:
