Hey sorry guys been a bit slow the last few months. Been moving shops as well as balancing my full time job, building 3 trucks as my side business and raising a young family is taking a toll on me. The bed is about halfway done, and the interior metal work has commenced as well. I will be back on it full steam ahead come the start of july. I am horrible at posting pictures so hopefully will can post them up for me.

Just a quick update. The build is still happening. Truck has been sitting for a while as I was deciding what to do about a motor. We ended up purchasing a 5.3L L33 few weeks ago and are presently gathering parts such as LS1 intake, Texas speed cam, Holley pan and so on. More updates coming over the next few months as we bring it back to life.

I Love, Love, Love the build! I hope you do not think that I am a “Debbie Downer”, however, I would like to offer a suggestion on the fuel line “B-Nuts.” On an aircraft, all fuel lines on the engine, are “safety wired”. That is due to vibrations that tend to loosen, or back off those fittings. I would suggest that it might be better to use B-Nuts that have provisions for safety wire. Those will come pre-drilled for safety wire. I would recommend .032 safety wire. A large majority of nascar and 3/4 midget racers use safety wire on their fuel lines. Please do not be offended by my observations. With that amount of money invested, it would be silly to miss a small item like that. Love the fabrication of all the hard lines along the frame.

Hey guys, me and will have been talking and its finally time to start updating a bit on here. The build has been back on since the new year. Making a big push to get the thing finalized before it gets blown back apart for powdercoating and undercoating. Truck will go for paint later in the year. Here are some pics as of the last few weeks. More to come.

Rear seats have been converted to buckets. They need to be reshaped and rewrapped when the interior gets redone. The bed is about 80% complete. Few small things left to finish up on it. Cab is all seam sealed and awaiting lizard skin interior coating.

Inside of the tailgate is currently being shaved, but with full functionality of the oem handle access. The V8 swap is most of the way complete. Exhaust will be wrapped up soon, along with all the small misc parts to make it run. We are in talks with current performance about the wiring situation.

whats up guys, hope everyone is finding ways to stay sane through all this covid madness. just a few updates on the build.

We purchased and received a harness kit, pedal and ignition from Current Performance in FL. Cory is in the process of hooking everything up.

Next up will be the metal work under the hood. Should have some pics to share in the coming weeks.

Stay safe!
