Just saw mention of this on the Spike TV show "Power Nation".
(which isn't worth the trouble except you do occasionally learn about some worthwhile products and tools)

Appears to be essentially a copy of Plasti-Dip?

I watched it also on extreme off-road. Looks to be a exact copy of plasti dip just marketed towards the automotive culture. I'd try it out. Looks like a larger can too

Where Plasti-Dip is a general-purpose product, Dupli-Color has targeted this directly at automotive applications, as you say.

Given Dupli-Color's considerable chemical engineering expertise, they may have a product here that will be better able to survive automotive applications.. temperature extremes, UV, etc.
