My muffler rattles against the crossmember that is behind the tranny crossmember, and its annoying and embarassing, is there anything i can do to stop it? like shove something in there or something to keep it from hitting it when ever i start it.

I have a similar prob like that, but it's only when i turn left it rattles against something. I'm not sure what but I'm just going go under there and tighten all the hangers to make sure none of them are loose. I'd try that for starters.

I had the opposite problem when I had the Flowmaster put on my truck. The piping was too short and it hit the cab. Now that I have the DynoMax ( which is a longer muffler - 25" instead of 19" long ) it doesn't hit.

Sounds like they need to make sure everything is tight or shorten the piping a bit.
