Has anybody ran an external fuel pump on this truck? Or does anybody know anything about them? Anybody know what the psi is and stuff like that? Basically I don't know anything about fuel cells and pumps so any info would greatly help, one of the last things I need to finish the project

you will need to run a regulator and a return fuel line so you can set the pressure
if you run that type of pump

How do I run a return line? Or from where? Because my stock set up was return less. And do you know what the fuel pressure is?

you will have to put the reg on the fuel rail, you mite be able to use the Vet fuel filter
it has a built in reg and a return fitting. you put a line on it and run that back to the cell
to dump the excess fuel back in. you will need to install a fitting in the cell with a tube.
make the tube long enough to end up 1" from the bottom of the cell.
not sure what the stock press is,

Is there a way that I can run a returnless setup like stock? And what do I do with this part? The pressure regulator thing under the bed

It's 10 inches tall, not really sure what you mean by mounting hole. I sort of made a cage for it through the bed. You can see it in my other thread

I've heard it called different things... fuel pressure control module, pulse width control module. It controls voltage and duty cycle to the fuel pump.

I have no idea what you should do with it. If you use an in-tank fuel pump that is a pwm type pump, then you would want to keep it. If you use an external pump then ??? Not sure how the pcm will react to the fpcm being deleted.

the big hole in the top, you mite be able to mod the hole or the factory pump
to fit in the hole. then you can use the PWCM box
pics of the top of the cell would help me

Well I'm already sending you the fuel pump anyways so I can't do that anymore. And I also found out the fuel pressure. Startup is 50 psi and running is 75 psi

you need a return line from the reg back to the tank.
how are you going to attach the reg to the rail ?
how are you going to hook the pump up to suck the fuel from the tank ?
your going to have to make a pickup tube for the tank and some sort of
vent system for the tank. also a return tube.

I'm building a bracket to put the regulator on the firewall close to the fuel rails. And I'm not using the stock tank anymore. I already threw that away, I'm using a fuel cell now and all that is already in it.
