The track was crap on Friday didn't get any clean runs and a car ended up blowing up and shutting down the track early. But today i did my first autocross even and got 3rd in the mod street class. It was so much fun. I'll definitely be doing it again.

After my autocross fun. I've found a couple things I need to address. I need a stiffer spring up front in my coil overs. A pan hard bar and most importantly a better locker out back. Not sure if kw offers stiffer springs for these but I'll have to look into that.

Well. Just killed the clutch at the drag strip. Not sure what popped but there is no engagement lol.

Started putting the truck away today and found a bad spark plug and the clutch problem lol.

Got everything tore out. Clutch failed on the pressure plate side. Going to clean it all up and will be as good as new!

You mean replace the linings? I thought now would be the perfect opportunity to go to the Hummer H3 clutch.

Been looking around and I'm pretty sure I'm going with south bends stage 2 drag clutch for the 07 to 10 h3 hummer.

I didn't have much luck with a sintered metal clutch. The lack of control (it's either on or off) really hindered performance. I hope the South Bend works better than the Spec. Let us know how it goes!

Well I have had the truck out and about for a week now. Only have about 200kms on the clutch so far. Its actually lighter then stock for petal feel. Going to be nice to it until the drag strip opens. Then I plan to thrash the hell out of this truck this year lol. I was maybe going to buy the tru trac before I go to the track. Still don't know about that yet. Trucks going to break into the 12s this year or its going to die trying lol.

The tru trac is worth it. It gives much better power in corners and works well at the drags. If you can swing it I'd do it.

The struggle is real. I really need to upgrade to a 3 inch exhuast still too. I'm still sporting the 2.5.
