Was recently at Jeremy's for a retune. Managed to perform some magic and up the boost to 20 psi. Unfortunately on my way home I hydroplaned off the highway into the ditch. I managed to drive the truck out of the ditch and make it back to Jeremy's. Jeremy and his wife were super nice and let me stay at there place for a bit until the roads dried up some. I managed to limp the truck home on the back roads and got home around 3am. So far, it just looks like a dented tailgate and messed up roll pan. Hoping to get under the truck Monday or Tuesday to see if anything got damaged under nether. If all checks out okay, its to the races on Friday!

I really need to stop changing things on this trucks and leave Jeremy be lol. Hoping to visit him again soon for tuning the 2 step. Then a couple pulls to see why it's so rich. It's in the low 10s afr up top and falls on it's face.

I think I read on here once, that you notice a sound of the engine when you start to get to the limits of these engines and I think I'm near that point. It has had me thinking of what to do next.

Also something to add. Anyone aware of someone putting a t56 or cd009 tranny on one of are i5s? I love this truck but the tranny doesn't like to do anything fast and is quite painful.

@Lnhiv

Yeah there was the dude from AZ that had the dark blue CC ZQ8 that was T56 swapped with the turbo........ I'd have to dig his name up.

T56 behind the I5 in theory should be doable being the earlier ones should have the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 4L60/MA5 5 spd.

The sticky part being is the flywheel and clutch.

Good news, the VSS and the reverse light wiring should be plug and play. NOTE: I wired my MA5 with T56 pigtails (the VSS for the 4L60/MA5 and T56, I believe are all the same; I say this because my AT VSS plugged right into my MA5)
