So I have been thinking about Plastidipping some stuff. I am for sure going to do the chrome piece going across the grill. Going to do it in white.
Anyone have any thoughts about me painting the valance white also? I am leaving some of the chrome on the truck because it matches my wheels.
So...white valance?

That's the piece below the chrome bumper? What about for the rear bumper? Ideas? Or just leave it?

I think I'm gunna copy you, I've been looking for a white center grill piece but can't find one.

Did you just sand the chrome and bow tie then just paint?

No sanding on the chrome. Just used plastidip. Clean it with rubbing alcohol. Let that dry really good. Then go to town with the plastidip. Sprays right on top of the chrome. I would sand the bow tie though if I was you. Unless you want to plastidip that too. You don't have to sand with plastidip. Pretty cool stuff.

Yeah I've used plastidip a bunch before just doesn't like gasoline.
