Hey there, im fairly experienced in car audio however i have never put a serious system into a vehicle, just random components that bought at a good price or given to me, anyways the question...
if your deck gives out 50w x 4 and your speakers are rated for 100w would you buy and amp for 50 w x 4 ie add the wattage from the deck or would you just buy a 100w x 4 amp assuming they are at the same resistance.
