Purchased a bell tech lowering kit with 3” blocks and 2” lowering springs for the front but am yet to install them. I can get a pair of 1.5” spacers for $80(Canada) for all four and I’ve heard mixed reviews. Would it be safe? Or am I just testing my luck? On another note what size tire could I run without rubbing with and without the spacers. I am currently on the stock 15” For the 2.9l and will likely stay there till I save up for rims if i will even fit larger.

I wouldn't use spacers. You can accomplish the offset you're looking for if/when you replace the rims. I've never actually understood the process of lowering and installing larger diameter wheels and tires at the same time. Guess I am just an "Old Guy" like my name here implies! Fix it like you like it, and make it yours!!
