I just thought I would let you know that you can get them direct from borla. They have a few different kits and the price is very good.

17800780 this is for a 04-10 2.8 regular cab touring exhaust. $287.10

17800781 this is for a 2.8-3.5 regular cab performance exhaust. $285.75

17800783 this is for a 2.8-3.5 crew cab performance exhaust. $285.75

those are some good prices.....and i think those kits are made out of stainless too
Yes there are full stainless steel t304. And because it's direct from borla it's liftime warranty. Best price I could get from GM was $716.00 canadain. I just hope it gets rid of the drone that I could not get rid of with the magnaflow cat back exhaust.
Haha, a V8 guy feels left out :kiki:

At least there is an aftermarket for LS motors
Yes go right to borlas web site and enter colorado in the search bar and it will show you the part numbers and price.

It was stock that Gm stuck them with when the old Gm shut down and the new Gm came to be. So borla is just clearing them out. This is what the guy at borla told me.
CREW CAB LINK

I ordered one last week and it arrived on Friday. My son came over and we (he) installed it tonight. Went together in about an hour with the exception of the two bolts being too long. He ran to Lowes and bought 2 SS bolts to replace those. The exhaust outlet is fairly close to my trailer hitch. I may need to buy a longer exhaust hangar to move it further down. I have not purchased a tip yet.

To us, the sound is only slightly louder than stock.

GMPP Corsa sound clips

We (he) changed out my downstream O2 sensor while we had the passenger's side jacked up anyway.
Glad you got one. Got mine on today and yes bolts were to long got two new ones.

And yes was close to the hitch but my installer made a new bend so we could do a tip out the side. He did a great job and tig welded the new bends using 300 stainless.

And I am happy to hear it is close to stock I knew it was much quieter than my burnt out magnaflow cat back.
Anyone know the differences between the GMPP Borla touring and sport exhaust?

Do they use the same size muffler or have an internal design change or tubing size?

Also does anyone have a picture of this system installed under their truck or out of the box?
They no longer have stock of the touring system only the performance system for the 3.5.

As far as the difference the performance one is 2 inches shorter than the touring one. And the guy I spoke with at borla told me that the performance one they may have used a bit less packing but he could not confirm that.

If you want I will be under my truck tomorrow and can take a pic. But it fits in the stock place so really not to much to see.

But really you can't go wrong with this exhaust. Great sound and no droning noise in the truck. Here is a pic of the muffler.

Is this a muffler picture of the performance system for the crew cab?

I noticed one GMPP website said it does not fit trucks with the Xtreme package so the outlet may have to be modified for those trucks.
Surprised no Drone. My Borla Pro XS has plenty of drone and I ran it out the passenger side. Maybe the Pro XS is louder? I do have an oval tip too
Well you can tell that the gmpp is bigger than the pro xs. And if you want drone run a magnaflow muffler. You will like your pro xs after that.

Yes that is a picture of the gmpp performance muffler that's on my truck.

Mine is on a xtream and I had to do a few small mods near the tip end but other than that it bolted right into place with no issues.
Thanks for all the info.

I was able to order the GMPP touring system form the Borla TN warehouse.

I plan to use this with a OTTP long tube or KPE equal length header with a 300cpi metal cat to keep the noise to a minimum on a 3.7L I5 engine.
Wow really you got lucky they told me I could not get the touring exhaust for my 3.5.

Let us know how it sounds with the header and new cat.

I wanted the touring for when I am towing my travel trailer, but I must say I am happy still with the performance sound. Anything is better than the magnaflow sound.
I just received the GM Performance Touring exhaust today so they still have them in stock.

Once the header & exhaust system are installed I'll make a video sound comparison.

Tell me about the touring system please?

It's the same size as the stock muffler with a quiet exhaust tone and a straight through design in all 304 stainless steel with a lifetime warranty.

Nice. Be prepared to run to the store to buy shorter bolts for the flange. We bought two Stainless Steel bolts, nuts and washers from Lowes.
