Hey guys, just picked up my head unit yesterday and holy shit I want it installed so bad. I just got the Pioneer AVIC-D3 with all the install parts after a nice little visit to Valencia, CA. Thanks to Sonic Electronix, I was able to save a crapload compared to what I would of payed at best buy :355:

Here's my dilemma though, I am leaving Monday morning for Big Bear so I don't know if I should just wait. I'm coming back on Friday afternoon and then fucking school starts on that following Monday. A fellow guru of mine (rrcn / Rudedog) has offered to help me out in case I decide not to go for the "pro" install.

I just found out that there is a possibility that the speed sensor wire that comes with this shit cannot be hooked up. Ugh, say it aint so motha fucka!!!

The unit will still work fine without the vss wire. Gps calculates everything.

I just have to see how the bypass works and figure out what i am going to do about the vss wire. Some people say it's necessary and some say it doesn't matter *cough cough tech12volt** lol

I might work something out with Rudy tomorrow but I dont know if I will have time :dawg:
