I was on my way to the local GM dealer, when suddenly my rear view mirror fell off: Not weird yet, well this is what happen:

The rear view mirror chipped of a piece of the windshield....:wtf2: :wtf:

I left the truck at the dealer for the weekend, hopefully this is covered by the warranty on the truck. :noes:

Does anybody know how much the windshield will cost?

dude that sucks..... hopefully urs is covered though.....

when my windshield was destroyed by the freeway, i called this company out of the phonebook to come out and they fixed it for like $100.

I have full coverage on the truck, but I figured the manufacturers warranty might cover it.

Maybe I should have taken out the system out, since they might blame it on that.

I didn't even ask, I just asked them for a write out stating that the manufacturer warranty will not cover this, that way if the insurance asks I can show them that.

good call. i bet that would have been what they say though. you should pull the system out for a bit and go to a diff dealership. that should be covered...at least i would think so

I took a look at the fine print and is not covered.
I may take the system out, since I will be getting rid of it and then see what the other dealer says.

If you still under 36k then the bumper to bumper warrenty covers everything.

Mine also fell off when I had my system on my truck. Chipped the window as well. I just went out and bought a new windshield for like $180 at a friend's price.
