I hope this is in the right forum but I have a 2010 Colorado and trying to replace the low beam regular light there’s barely enough room down there to replace it I pulled the socket out but can’t get the bulb off so I had to screw the old bulb back. Am I going to have to disconnect the whole headlight housing to replace it or is there a simple way?

The headlight is relative easy, but the grille has to come off. Disconnect the one connector on each side for the park/turn lights. They stay with the grille. The upper retainers for the grille are a bit tricky.. There are four clips across the top that go into the radiator support. They are easy to release by just pushing on the little tabs
.
The lower part of the grille has five friction retainers. Just pull and the grille should come off.

Now, when the grille is off, remove the parts of the upper clips from the radiator support and install them on the other half of the clips that are on the grille. If you don't do that it will be very hard to realign the clips without breaking them. Going back on, just push the clips into the holes.

Just in case: Plastic clips, part number 89045535. Metal retainers part number 15078238
