Considering I do not own a 18 wheeler, which is a rig, I can't give input..

the term rig is commonly used on any type of vehcile that people use off road. slang like coly or 355 or dime.

used in a sentence: Yea! sure ill go wheelin this weekend, i just got new tires for my rig!
