Hey guys, I'm not the best at forums so if I post something in the wrong spot feel free to barade me.
Been daily driving my 06 for the last 12 years and finally bought a new truck for a daily.

That being the case I can finally do all the ill-advised mods I've always wanted to.
I'm no mechanic so any and all advice is much appreciated.

Things I plan on doing.
2" drop ball joints and QA1 coilovers up front
3" blocks and QA1 shocks in the back
Custom trans crossmember
Steering wheel swap.
I want to turbo this thing more then anything but I lack the know how but I'm definitely going to attempt it.
Well that's for starters we'll see how she goes.

Picture attached was my friend telling me I won't make it to work in my stupid little truck. That's me making it to work and 50miles away from my house in a snow storm around chicago :)

Is the Polaris for weight or in case you get stuck and need it to pull the truck free?

Both lol I actually had it on cause I take it around where I work. But yea the weight definitely helped that day.
That looks purrrty stuck to me LOL

Only for a min or 2, made it out without any digging. If the sled wasn't on the back I'd definitely be shoveling.
Welcome to the forum. This is the place to be for first gen.
Do a lot more research on here before going with the ball joint.
Are you going to lower it or raise it.

Lowering, so yea I definitely did some reading and some guys say it works and some say it don't?
My first Rado had them on there it had the zq8 package not the the xtreme that I have currently. So if I'm not mistaken the fender flares are lower on the extreme so figure I might get some rubbing issues. I plan on running the qa1 coilsovers pretty stiff so I'm hoping that might prevent some rubbing.
winter tires on these 2wd trucks put in work

Would you happen to know what's wrong with the ball joint drop ? I read a post ,guy said he hated the ball joint drop but didn't mention why.
