Everything else is fine. I think it broke a few inches from the splines so I think the c clip is still working kevin!

It was actually pretty docile. As soon as it went it pitched sideways towards the ditch but it was easy to straighten back out. I shoved the exle back in and drove it onto the car hauler

So what's the plan? Upgraded stock replacement axles? 9"? 8.8"? Booger weld the stock axle back together and run 24 psi? :lol:

I wish I could like braknit's post lol

I got a fullsize rear though. Chop a few inches out. Get some axles made and throw in a trutrac. Picked up the complete rear with rotors and calipers for $150

When I narrowed my 9inch for my 53 Chevy I bought Yukon shafts they make them now cut to fit worked out awesome just get your measurements and cut them to your length

Well they have different lengths and about 8-10 inches are splined cut off what ya don't need it was really easy to do I was happy with them
