There was a thread that was posted last year about everyones tunes and what it helped, But no one really said anything about how much it helped


Ex: Horse power went from ____ to ____
Gas mileage went from ____ to ____
1/4 or 1/8 mile runs before tune and after

things like this is what would like to find out, mean better shift points and more horses are always a plus, but to a certain cost.

On my current truck my gas mileage went from 24.5 to 26.5 mpg with a 93 octane tune.

I'll have some 1/4 mile figures soon.

I only know of one person who's done a before and after dyno run and that's Hannibal.

yes, its a very noticble increase. Its most notable on the highway where there is more torque down low to get you moving rather than downshifting.

well Hope to get plenty of feed back thankx guys this will probably make up my mind, if Im going to go out of state to get a tune or just wait till i can find some one that does it around here.
