Has anyone had any luck getting significantly more low-end torque out of these motors? I mean in the 2-3000RPM range.

I realize a tune/exhaust/intake might help, but I find that for the most part these mods are more for high RPM gains. I also understand reducing the torque management might help a bit, but I assume that will be more off the line rather than on the highway in OD.

Any thoughts? I've already swapped to 4.10 gears.

If power is what you want, go for a 93 octane tune and an efan

You need some bank that you can spend on a power adder and the time to keep it working perfect 100% . And then you need more bank and time and bank.

Already did the 4.10s. It helped a lot. I'd still like more torque in the low range for when OD is locked up on the highway. Would adding a header+tune give more torque, or just more high end HP?

that would help all the way around.from bottom to top.
you could get an 89 tune if you don't want to run 92-93 oct all the time.
talk to Supermod/James for your options, he can tell you what tune you need.,
