So I´m in the process of buliding a headache rack, since I´m down in Mexico getting stuff from the states its not always easy and from canada... well.. you figure it out.

So this is so far the 3D sketch that I have.

Improvements over the standard back rack.

- No bolts, all welded > no re-tightening needed.
- Reinforced Structure
- Third light more visible
- Bed Rails in steel 3/4" plate
- Rear bar can hold a ladder in an upper position
- Rear bar can be relocated to the front when not in use and match the headache shape, no need to left that part at home.
- COST

What do you guys think about it?

I like it. I'd personally lose the side and rear rail. I don't do long stuff on my truck, so the rear would not serve any purpose.

Side rails will increase cost, and keep you from being able to mount a truck box. (As drawn).

I would buy one if you could figure out how to put a hole for the rear slider.
