I've got the 3.5 with the 4l60e.
The CEL is not on.
1 in every 5 times, my trans seems like it sticks in a high gear, it happens most frequently after long rides on the expressway. When you stop at a red light, then try to accelerate, it pegs itself at 2600 and accelerates really slow until you get to cruising speeds, then it is fine. It never does this during cold start, however, it does seem to wine a little like a power steering pump low on fluid. It does this till warm.
I've been doing some reading on this and have an idea as to what it could be, but want to see if anyone else has had the same problem.
I'm selling the truck, but can't bring myself to drop this problem on somebody.
