Hey all, been looking at getting some soft riding progressive rate type springs for my 2011 V8 Colo Crew 4x4 Z71. I studied a lot of spring dimensions and it seems 84-01 Jeep Cherokee springs might be a great candidate. They are 52 long, same as Colo, they are 2.5" wide, same as Colo, use 14mm bolts which is within 0.010 of a 9/16 Colo bolt, and can be had in many various lift, load options. They are pretty soft due to XJ being only 3400 lbs or so (until you armor one up). I know I will loose my load carrying capacity but don't care, want plush dirt road ride. Biggest Q is how much XJ lift do I need for stock Colo Height. I can buy Rubicon Express 3.5" (7.5" of free arch I think) lift springs for $85 each, they have 6 thin leaves, which should have lots of travel.

Anyone else have any experience with this?
