Leaky Window wash tank

My window wash tank is leaking. I took it out partway to look at the bottom. Both window water tank and radiator overflow tank are connected and can't be separated. The tank has no cracks and all I can see is maybe a leakage from where the pump plugs into the tank. Anyone else have this same issue and fix it? Forgot to mention. 07 4wd 3.7 5 cyl. standard cab

If the grommet is bad, you can get one at a Dealer for $1.18 (if they aren't padding the bill) Part number 12367271.
Thanks cart, went to the dealer yesterday to find out why I couldn't find my tank at ANY sites online. They were all separate radiator overflow and windshield tank. Mine is both tanks permantly connected. She found it and suggested the grommet. I ordered it, $1.89 shipped to Maui. Part no. 12367271. I'll also run a little Permatex Black silicon adhesive sealant around all the connection points too.

Model year 2007 was the year that the reservoirs changed configuration. Builds prior to September 2006 got the separate tanks. After September 2006, they have your configuration. That probably contributed to the confusion.
If your gonna get into working on your washer fluid reservoir, I recommend this mod:
I wonder why it is impossible to find on the internet parts sites then. I took another look at the pump an decided it was what is leaking. The dealer was the only place that had my pump style. I ordered one. $75. But that's the only place I could find it. In the meantime I popped the old pump apart figuring I have a new one coming anyway and used some black silicon sealer above all the holes and popped it back together. I'll wait until tomorrow for it to dry all the way and try it. I have had the tanks in and out so many times now I hadn't been paying attention to where the overflow hose from the radiator part of the tank routes to. Anyone know where it goes? It doesn't hook to anything does it? it just drops any overflow onto the ground right? And what is the routing?

When in doubt, you can always ask here. Pump part number 25792626. Amazon $24.81. RockAuto $27.79.

My configuration may be different than yours, as I have a V8, but on my truck the overflow hose routes forward under the air filter case.

Note: the Dealer price here is $55.90.

Your awesome cart7881. I just ordered at Amazon for $24. Sure hope its right, there was no picture available but I trust you. The overflow hose just dumps with no connection to anything correct?
If you want to see a picture of the pump that has that part number, go to rockauto.com and do a part number search.

Yes, the overflow hose is just an open hose.

Thanks again cart. I'm getting fast at taking the tanks out. I routed it under the air cleaner, looks obvious now. The picture at RA is a drawing but looks like it.
Okay, good.

You were asking about "internet parts sites" earlier. You should have RockAuto bookmarked. It is the first place I go to, if I don't have a part number. They have outstanding service and ship all over the world. They also stock a lot of OEM ACDelco parts.

To get the 5% discount; during checkout, at the bottom, you will see a box that asks "How did you hear about us" Enter the code number in that box. Don't enter any other info/data, just the code number.

Gotta thank you again cart. For under $25 shipped I got the correct part, and only 3 days later to Maui. Amazing. Just put it in and works great, AND it's a Delco part. Thanks bruddah
Glad you got it fixed and thanks for returning to update this Thread.
