lift spindles identification.

I just found a set of lift spindles in a junk yard, they where only $50 with the brake lines so I bought them. The truck I pulled them off looked like it had a 5 inch lift but not sure. Any help?

That's what I thought. Does anyone make 5" spindles besides cst?
From what I can remember they are made out of two different materials, one you want to stay away from but the experts will be here shortly to confirm.

These are steel, heavy steel.
Those are a cast spindle. They must be a 5" because the upper portion is way too long to be a 3" lift spindle. CST went to cast spindles after they quit making fabbed steel spindles like the ones I'm currently running. Nice find for $50!
Balling on a budget. Scored a camper shell also, traded it for my cover.
Would you sell them?
for $300 sure lol. I had to fight with this rusty colorado for hours to get these.
I think those are 3".
The CST ones I have seen have a cst stamp on them...
The stampings rusted off these. I sanded all the rust off and painted then. Could bear to install rusty parts on my car.

3" only? ok, I will give you 3/5 of asking price shipped! lol
Looks like 3", if they had been 5" the lower balljoint point would be in the middle of the hub.
You can see what I'm talking about in the link below.

Did you inspect them really good? Are there any seams on the casting or is it all just one casting? Was the vehicle wrecked from the front end?

I'm thinking outloud.....but if the thing is rusted so badly that the manufacturer stamp that is cast can't be read, I'd wonder how bad the rest of it is rusted. How does the mounting surface look......? No stress cracks or anything.
Overall it looked good. Just surface rust. A tree fell right on the cab during hurricane sandy.
They were rusty but wouldn't have a problem installing them on my truck.
