Hey guys,

I'm moving cross country this month and need to lighten the load.

Up for grabs is the original limited slip differential (not a G80 Locker but GMs limited slip) with 3.73 gears from my 2007 Colorado, I swapped out the rear for a 4.10 G80 after I lifted it before I traded it in. This differential has about 30K Miles on it. I am looking for $175 Paypal-ed(send money to a friend) and shipped in the US; I get a great rate on shipping so I can and will ship this if you're not local.

Pardon my ignorance but what is the difference between this and the g80?

Hey man,

The G-80 is a mechanical locker where as this is GM's 'limited slip' which will not lock both wheels together and provide equal power to both simultaneously. For instance, if you were to power break and peel out you'd only leave one line with this but you might notice a few spots where the other wheel tried to do something. The limited slip is standard for the Colorado and the g-80 was the option. However the 3.73 gears are going to get more power to the ground than the 3.42 and were used on a lot of the i4/i5 models.
