I have a 2006 i-4 5spd with 342 80mph is almost 2.5rpms maybe little more, What would they be at with 4.10's going 80mph? Would 410s be bad for highway, would it be reved to high?

well i know for me....65MPH is about 1900, 70 is around 2100, and 80 sits around 2300-2400.... even pegged at 98MPH my truck only hangs around 3000RPM

Just noticed you have a I4/5SPD. I have a I5/A4. owell...more info for ya...

I've heard the 4.10s make a 500rpm difference. I'm not positive on this, but i will hopefully be testing later this year. :D

500 diff aint too bad, Gass will drop on highway alittle. If its only 500 diff, id say its worth it. ANy more info on this would be Appreciated.

IMHO.... I have a love/hate relationship with the 4.10s....I love them cause I can take off in a crewcab with no issues....I hate them cause it makes the bitch a gas guzzler...

well i figured if im going to spend the money on it i might as well get 410, How much of a gas dirnker? Im in a Ext cab 2wd i4 5spd Shouldnt be less than 20mpg? Unless your on highway, you might get 15 going 80?

hahaha... I average about 15 in driving period...sometimes if im lucky i can get 16. Now to note i also have a CC 4X4 Z71...soo weights not in my favor...

I get 15 mpg with my 3.42s ha i need to step it up to get better gas mileage.

Honestly.. Youre on the right lines.. 2wd, xcab, i-4 and stick.. you could get decent mileage outta 4:10's.

my buddy has 410s in his S10 and that thing moves. The fact that its supercharged doesnt hurt either but im not sure about MPG. I think gears are one of the best mods you can do. I hope to do this soon.

If you have 3.42's now and are at 2500 rpms at 80 mph...all else being the same, the switch to 4.10's would put you right around 3000 rpms at 80 mph.

3.73s FTW mine came factory though. i think 4.10:1 gears would be overkil in our trucks unless your a lifted 4wd that offroads or a lowered speed demon like txcoloradoss
