Welcome! Why the delay?

Just a newbie question here, has anyone ordered parts from GM Parts Direct? How are they, or if anybody knows a good website to get some replacement parts for our old trucks?

Shipping is expensive and customer service is slow. What you looking for? Rockauto is a good source as well.

Basically mostly used this site before for the How-to stuff for maintenance. Now that I am almost done with school, and working. I finally have some money to put into the truck....upgrades/repairs.

Mostly OEM replacement parts. I have looked through GM parts direct, and did not know if it was legit or good. Below is mostly what I am looking for

Rear seat cup holders, idiot broken
Bench seat center console
Wiper blade cowl plastic chipping below the window
Rear mud flaps, broken off during a trip
Front grill Chevy Bow-tie, this one a bird cracked it.

Also wanting to see if possible to add factory fog lights. Anybody have success with that?

Honestly, don't be scared to hit up ebay.......plenty of the needed parts can be had there cheap and easy

I see a truck being parted out, I contact seller and see if I can get a bulk or discount buy for multiple parts......at least combined shipping
