I have a 2007. Canyon. Sle. 4 door. 2weel. Drive. 5 cylinder. I think temp gauge is nuts. Runs about 3/4 of the way. Towards hot. What do I need. To get. Temp readings. From. Computer. Please be specific I'm. 60. Years old could use some help please. Unsure about where to post so. I. Started here. [email protected]. thanks

Welcome to the group. The temp gauge could be just a difference from the original thermostat and a newer replacement. GM revised the thermostat. The best way to find out is get a scan tool, I like Scangauge2, and plug it into your OBD2 port under the driver side of the dash. Then turn the truck on. When you cycle through its readings, one will be °FWT. That will give you the numerical value for the water temp. That should start you in the direction of whether ot is something to worry about or not.
