Sorry, I don't mean to worry you or anything. Honestly, my tonneau doesn't even bother me, yeah I wish it didn't have the green tint. But its not even noticeable unless you know about it. My friends didn't notice it til I said something. It'll be black one minute, then green the next. I don't know why it does that because my truck doesn't. But when I got my SS front bumper painted, I told the guy about how my tonneau turns green & they made it perfectly black granite metallic...no green tints at all...so that worked out perfect. Just let the painter be aware. I was thinking about going to Auto Color and checking on my paint code...they take a picture of your truck, well a really close picture of the paint, then they get the code some way...so I'm going to get that done just to see if my codes right or whats going on. I don't know why its always coming up as carbon flash metallic, and not black granite metallic. But really, the green doesn't even bother me...its not even noticeable, and it doesn't even stand out...you can look at my pics and even see that it doesn't appear green at all.Yep, that is what comes up for that code for my '09. Now with what you've experienced, I am more than worried about getting a color match tonneau. Just more to wax. But I bet it looks good though.
