This will become the "Official Sign Up / Info Thread" for the WCSM 2015 being held in Sacramento, CA. June 27-28. Not everything has been determined, (off road meet, food, t-shirt pre-order and exact location) but when anything is finalized, it will be posted in this post. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Matt via PM on here or on Facebook. We're trying to keep the non pertinent posts to a minimum in this thread. All other discussion should be posted in the other thread,
http://www.355nation.net/forum/west-coast-super-meet-wcsm/132298-official-wcsm-2015-im-making-up-i-go-thread.html. And remember that these meets are always "Family Friendly".
When you sign up, please indicate how many you plan on bringing with you so that we can get a head count for the food. Thanks.
MEET INFO:
Date: Sunday, June 28
Time: 11:00 ish
Location: Sacramento, CA.
AceX says: So I'm getting 'ish done finally.
Sorry I went kinda dark for a while. I've had a lot going on, and then I had to be an adult for once in my life (which sucks btw. I don't know how you fuckers do it) but now I'm back on track.
So here's a few directions on how to get to this shindig. I will have signs and such posted for you guys along the route, inside the park, but this should help give you an idea of where we'll be. It should be a busy weekend for the park, and I got us what, in my opinion, is the best spot for what we want.
So first, the spot: We're smack dab in the middle of Discovery Park and in the shadow of the I-5 Freeway. So for once, instead of being the scourge of my commute, I-5 will be providing us with protection from the sun. We have a couple BBQ's, a bathroom, and table available to us and we don't have to share if we don't want to. Here's some additional info:
American River Parkway - Discovery Park
So, how to get to the awesomeness:
From I-5 North: You are going to exit on Richards Blvd, which is JUST passed Downtown Sacramento. Turn left onto Richards Blvd and follow it up a few hundred feet to Jibboom St. It's is right where the street starts to curve left. You will be turning right and follow that street until you get to the guard shack (Green Triangle on map). Pay the nice person there for entrance ($5 per vehicle but they have some axle fees, etc. which I don't think we have to worry about honestly) and then make your way across the bridge and into the park. Once there, you will make your first right, and follow that road until you see us all on the right side, underneath the I-5 Freeway.
If you miss Richards Blvd, don't worry, the next exit, just over the river, is Garden Highway. Exit there and make a left turn. (Then follow the instructions left for those coming from I-5 South)
From I-5 South: Exit on Garden Highway and turn left. Go down a few hundred yards to Natomas Park Dr. and turn right (It's going to be the first stop light after you are out from under the freeway.) This isn't much of a street entrance and it's really easy to miss, so pay close attention. Follow the road to the guard shack (Green Triangle on map) and pay the nice person there $5 for admission to the park. Continue down that road and it will go under the I-5 Freeway and curve to the left. Just after the curve, you will see us on the left side, under the Freeway.
If you miss the Garden Highway exit, get off on Richards Blvd (it is the next exit down, just over the river) and turn right. Then follow the directions given to those coming from I-5 North.
Again, I will have signs up to help you guys find your way, but this should get you there is you're into the whole reading maps thing. My family and I will be there early, setting things up and I will either send someone to lead a caravan form the host hotel, or do it myself.
I am still working on the off-road meet, and maybe a fun activity for the night before the meet. I'll keep you guys posted.
Also, we still need volunteers to make cool trophies, otherwise you guys are getting some off-the-shelf bowling trophies with "World's Best Bowler" scratched out and "Cool Truck" written over it in crayon. And who wants to show that shit off? You're right, no one. You can find that thread here:

OFF ROAD MEET:
The Off Road portion of the meet will be held on Saturday, June 27th at the Prairie City SVRA. For those that need to drop stuff off before headed to the park, you guys will meet at Matt's house at around 10am. For those that don't, they plan on meeting at the park and get things going at around 11am. Matt will be posting up his address here pretty quick. Click on the link for maps and exact location.

The rate will be $109/night, which is a little more than I wanted you guys to have to spend, but I believe that they are by far the best choice for our particular needs. They are part of a brand new hotel complex that is locally owned and operated. They have plenty of parking and a security patrol for the property. Breakfast is provided, and there are a host of restaurants literally next door including, you guessed it, In-N-Out Burger. There's a Safeway with a gas station right across the street, and a car wash about 200ft down the street. It's the ideal location for you guys to stay.
They are giving us a courtesy hold of 25 rooms (one with wheel chair access) for this price. For those of you who are going to trailer your trucks here, please contact me as we will be working out something just for you guys as far as parking those beasts.
Again, it's a little more than I wanted you guys to spend, and of course you are welcome to look around for something else, but they certainly check all the boxes that I felt were most important to all of us. If the costs are prohibitive, please contact me and I will try and work with you to find something close by. For those of you who are baller as fuk, they do have suites available, but those were not discussed in the pricing.
Now, there is ONE catch to this hotel: The reservations for these rooms MUST be done by June 1st or I cannot guarantee you this price. The hotel staff are really amazing and genuinely want to do their part to help make this a great experience for everyone. I told them that every year the East and West have a friendly competition to see who can throw the best meet, and Samantha's response was, "Well we definitely want you to win this year."

FOOD:
It has been decided that we will be BBQing Hamburgers and Hot Dogs at the meet. There will also be chips and soda. We also ask that if anyone wants to bring a side dish of some sort, please do so. It doesn't have to be enough to feed the whole crew, just whatever you want to bring. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. It was decided that the food will be $5 per person and that will include one raffle ticket as well. And we will probably collect that when you get signed in and get your registration packet.
Side Dishes and/or Condiments:
rk_10canyon : Lettuce and Tomatoes
mrscoreyd : Side dish or two and some onions and cheese.
Cookie_M0nster : A couple of mystery side dishes.
RAFFLE:
There are a lot of things to give away for the Raffle. Extra tickets will be sold for 2/$5 or 5/$10. Buy as many as you want. Lots of nice stuff on the table. Some of these items include discounts from DKMOULDS, SSK, SLICK & DIRTY MOTORSPORTS, WICKED KREATIONS. 355NATION T-shirts from Mark Cowan, Pencil Drawing from BOYD SMITH, and a lot more stuff as well.
MORE STUFF:
UPDATE: Oh, some more cool stuff, thanks to you guys showing such a big interest in the dyno runs, we've confirmed that MCE Performance will be there with their mobile dyno rig and will be available for you guys to make pulls all day long! It will be $40 per truck. Each truck will get two pulls on the dyno, and they will give you a laminated print out of the data collected.
They asked that they be fed. They obviously have never been to a 355nation meet. They are super excited to come out and have a good time with us. They normally do larger events, so this will be a new experience for everyone involved. AS I said before, I'll have prizes for you guys who put down the most power on both 4 and 5 cylinders (and I won't be participating) so if you've been waiting to buy a cold air intake, MBRP exhaust, or even just tune up the motor, now might be a good time to do it!
UPDATE : Matt says....."OK, so I've had a couple people ask about the dyno runs and how that whole thing will be handled, so I contacted MCE Performance and got eh run down from Kevin. I wanted to make sure I posted this info for all of you who may have never been on the dyno before, or seen a car making pulls in real life.
Cost: $40
What you get: Two pulls on the dyno to make as much power as possible.
How it's done: Once you pay Kevin of MCE Performance, you will sign a standard waiver. After the waiver is signed, you will be guided on to the dyno and the truck will be strapped down and secured to the dyno. Once the truck is secured, Kevin will take over and be in the truck making the pulls while you Instagram the crap out of the pulls.
After both pulls, the truck will be unstrapped and lead off the dyno and the next person will repeat the process.
You guys will not be in the truck while they are making the pulls on the dyno. You will also not be allowed to work on the truck in between the two pulls due to time and costs. Sorry, but that's how it is. Kevin and his team are VERY experienced with running the dyno at shows all over the country and they know how to get you the best results and how to do it safely.
I'm sorry if this comes across the wrong way, but just like when working with heavy equipment, safety comes first and all of us involved take your guys' safety very seriously. That being said, this will be a very fun experience for everyone. I have personally been a part of 100+ dyno pulls at Motor Machine Super Shop where my motor was built, and every time the rollers start moving, my heart starts to pump a little faster.
Oh yea, We'll also be giving out awards for power output
Just a few more days to go guys. Let's all get our last minute prep done and get ready to have a great friggen time."
