Anyone know anything about old Plymouths?

I saw this one buried over a steep embankment while I was out exploring WV.

I know the picture is pretty bad but the hillside was nearly vertical and was in a blind curve so I had to hurry.

I’m just curious about an approximate year and model. If you look close it’s got a tailgate.

Thanks.

Yow! I don't know much about that vintage Plymouths, but an old wagon like that'd make a sweet ride - but it looks like that one's too far gone. (Of course the guys at PowerNation could resurrect it in a weekend on a $1000 budget, heh)

But at least the drivers door would protect you from shotgun shot, lol!

I'm definitely not looking for a project. My Colorado keeps me busy enough in the garage. Besides, I'm poor. :(

I did some research today and I think it may be a 1949 Suburban.

I'll bet the guy who used to drive it explored WV just like me.

I googled 1950 plymouth wagon and looks to be a match. I never knew plymouth had a Suburban. Thought that was a Chevy.
Hmm a 2 door wagon. Must of made a sporty grocery getter.

It would be really cool to travel those WV backroads in a vintage Suburban.
