So after the install of my alarm, the truck started throwing the following code:

P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)

We thought it had something to do with us starting the truck up for a bit without the MAF sensor plugged in (we had to tear out the intake among other things to get to the PCM). I figured it's no big deal and I drove with it for awhile (it's now been about 3 weeks).

Well the other day I finally found someone who could clear it for me (AutoZone wouldn't do it, bunch of :kiki:s). And it came back again that night.

Sooo... Anyone have ideas of what it could be? :mc:

Have you cleaned the Thottle body? I not sure if that is the code I got when the TB was dirty.
I haven't. I figure if it's anything more than something that didn't get put back together or plugged in correctly then I'll have the dealership take care of it when I take it in for a few other things, only thing is I don't want them to look at it and then find it was something that I "caused" and end up paying for work that isn't under warranty.

A leak on the intake would do that lean code. Air entering the intake and not getting metered by the MAF... Re-check all intake connections.

Rich, you got a different code, yours was LOW RPM code.
