Hi!

Been reading posts on this site for awhile, but now it's time I ask a question.
I have an i5 2012 Colorado and it won't start. It just shut off one day while driving and had to get it towed back home. No errors, nothing.

The passlock is engaged and I can't even get the engine to crank. Tried following the instructions on multiple posts on here, but haven't had any luck.
I've read on how to disable the passlock, but they all require the truck to be running. I can't start mine.

I took the steering column cover off and the piece that is attached to the ignition says Pass-Key 3+.

Is there a way I can disable this to get it to start to actually take it to the garage? Something I could purchase?
I don't live near a garage, I'm out in rural Nova Scotia, so I have to drive it.

Thanks!

I would suggest following the passlock relearn again being sure not to miss any steps . To get the relearn to work it must be done perfectly . Good luck .
