The red one is a '83 and the blue/charcoal one is a '71. The trim and the side signal lights on the '71 is actually airbrushed along with the "CHEVROLET" on the tailgate. The photographer in the pics is Travis Noack from StreetTrucks magazine, he was shooting them both for a feature.

I flipped open the Truckin' magazine today and saw these two in there. It was part of the Gator Drag coverage.

The blue one got some sort of award for best paint scheme or something or another.

those trucks are so awesome. my first ride was a 85 candy apple red silverado, still have it. i plan on bagging it like that. i also have a 67 longbed which is the same bodystyle as the 71 just with a different grille and no sidemarkers....i love those trucks!!!
