I don't have the Pilots, but I'm considering a set also.

For me it's Michelin all the way.
There are really good tires these days from every maker, but Michelin stands alone.
The others just follow and try to keep up.

Michelin has a research center (and their North American corporate offices) in South Carolina. An old friend of mine worked at the research labs for 20 years.

The science and work Michelin puts into their products is second to no one.

BF Goodrich is owned by Michelin since about 10 years ago.

Took major effort over several years by Michelin's operations team to modernize and re-invest in the various BFG manufacturing plants, and to thin-out the dead wood in their management. They're considered the lower-tier brand but now they benefit by infusion of a lot of Michelin's production methods and processes.

I ran Goodyear Eagle 60-series on my truck through two sets.
Liked them pretty well but they were a bit harsh and I didn't get great life out of them. Not bad, but not great. They're fine tires, no doubt.

My last 2 set of Goodyears were great.

I got about 45,000 miles out of the RS-As(stock Xtreme wheels and tires), when those tires ere toast I went with the Eagle F1 GS2 (stock tire for the C6 vette) I got 39,000 out of those which I found to be impressive with the burn outs I did on a few occasions
