I have an 06 Colorado std cab z71 4wd with 3.5L. I am considering a 3" level tb crank with 2" shackles on the rear. I just bought new tires and am running on stock 15's and can't afford larger rims with new tires at this point. I am wondering how the lift will look on the stock 15" rims. I am trying to decide if I should do the lift now, live with the existing rims and rubber until I can afford new ones or wait until I can afford to do it all at once. I've looked at a lot of pics but need to see some that would still have the 15s and the lift I want to do. Thanks in advance!

Agree with above.
The lifted/suspension threads are FILLED with truck pictures.

What you are after is identical to what 85% of lifted truck drivers have done.

Good luck.
P.S. It will look fine with 15" rims. I don't quite understand why you think the rim size will make the truck look better/worse.

The tire size is limited anyway with a torsion bar lift so keeping 15's isn't anything to be concerned with.
