Trimming Requirements: cut body mount & cut front plastic bumper
Any Rubbing: No

Lift Height (hub to fender measurement)
Lift Components/ suspension maxx diff drop, ball joint flip.75", tuff country keys 3", Tuff country 3" AAL and 2"shackles body lift 1.5"
Total amount: 5.5" lift
Trimming or cutting/ took off black valance, notched gas tank crossmember.
Any Rubbing (Yes body mount. Never needed to cut. Didn't rub bad enough.

Wheel Spacers: No
Lift Height:3 inch, 23.5 front, 23 rear (center of hub to fender lip)
Lift Components: Suspension Maxx keys, shackles, Ball Joint spacer and rear shock extenders.
Flares/Fenders: Z 71
Trimming Requirements: Slight trimming at rear of front fender to the flare and inner liner
Any Rubbing: Slight rubbing in a turn in an off camber position

  • Rim: Vision Warriors 17x8.5, 5.7" BS
  • Wheel Spacers: 1"
  • Lift Height (hub to fender): 24"
  • Lift Components: CST 5" Spindles, CST AAL, Suspension Max adjustable shackles (middle setting), Rancho RS5325 Rear Shocks
  • Flares/Fenders: Z71's to be added
  • Trimming Requirements: lower valence/bumper lip removed, lower bumper trimmed
  • Any Rubbing: rubbed on front mud guards, had to remove them
  • Hub studs were cut for rims to mount flush on spacers
  • Extended front brake lines needed (I used the ones supplied by CST)

1) Sub-model: 2005 Colorado Ext cab. Z71 4x4 3.5L Auto

2) Tire Size: 31x10.50R15 BFgoodrich Radial Long Trail's (for now)

3) Rim Size: 15 Diameter/7" Width/I think 6.5" BS (stock z71 rims)(for now)

4) Wheel Spacers: None

5) Lift Height: Didn't measure but Front: 2.5" higher than stock/Rear: 2.5" higher

6) Lift Components: 2.5" Front TB Crank with new Re-indexed keys/2.5" New Rear Shackles. (Additional 1" Front TB Crank/2.5" Skyjacker AAL Coming soon)

7) Flares/Fenders: Stock Z71 Flares

8) Trimming Requirements: None required, but I did remove lower valence for looks.

9) Any Rubbing: None at all

10) New Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks front/back

11) Since these pics were taken I've removed the stickers on the back two doors, de-badged the truck, blacked out the brakelights and fliped the 3rd brakelight.

Wheel Spacers: no
Lift Height (hub to fender measurement)
Lift Components (i.e: 4" skyjacker, 3" body lift, 3" crank, etc) 5in CST spindle, 2in Smaxx shackle and 2.5in ebay add-a-leaf. skyjacker rear shocks. Smaxx 1.5in body lift.
Flares/Fenders (i.e: fiberglass fenders, Z71 flares, etc):none now, Fiberglass fenders in the future
Trimming Requirements (valence, body mount, etc). Front bumper plastic trimmed about an inch off. Front body mount (behind front tire) needs trimmed back a bit.
Any Rubbing (Yes / No, Where / When) On the front bumper plastic still when turning sharp on an incline or while flexing too much. Very little rubbing on body mount under same conditions with wheels turned all the way to the lock.

I do not see all the data that I see in the thread, but I guess you condensed some tire sizes and such into one?

Not all lifted data is entered in yet. The current chart came from a formerly existing one that I had not updated in some time. I will be adding the remaining data when I get the chance here soon.

Thank you both for your comments and concerns, but in the future, please PM me instead of posting here as to keep clutter out of the data.

Any Rubbing: not really.. only when i bottom out.

I saw nothing in the chart about this size so figured I'd post up.

Submodel: 2005 Canyon SLE 4x4 z71
Tire Size: 33x10.50r15 BfGoodrich All-Terrains
Rims: oem z71 rims 15x7.5
Spacers: none
Lift height: 3.5 inches
Components: zone 2 inch suspension lift, zone 1.5 inch body lift
Flares: z71 flares
Trimming: had to remove front mudflaps and front lower bumper valence
Rubbing: they lightly hit the sway bar under the right circumstances
