Hello everyone. I am having a problem with my rear O2 sensor. i have replaced it twice now and i am still getting the check engine light for the rear sensor. please help

If your still getting an error for the sensor..........the first thing I would recommend is trace the wiring harness back to where it joins the main hanress.

Look to see if its damaged in anyway

Chances are that a wire got clipped or worn through.....hopeflly an easy fix

What P code are you getting?

I cant really make a guess without knowing if it's a correlation between sensors, a bad heater circuit, or a malfunction code.

If you don't know the code, how do you know the problem is with the rear O2 Sensor. How do you know what is causing the "check engine" light? Without a code, there isn't any way to tell what the problem is.

Op most auto parts stores will read your codes if you don't have a scan tool.Write down the exact code or codes and report back.

You need to know the code so you can figure out what's the actual problem.

i had autozone read the code and they told me it was for the rear O2 sensor.

Go back and get the P code not a description. There are about 6 codes that pertain to the O2 sensors. Also autozone employees typically don't know their ass from their elbow.
