Looking good. How are you liking the Black Max's so far? The Rancho 5000s that came with my lift are shot after 30k miles so I'm in the market.
The Black Maxx shocks feel good. They're stiff without beating you to death. One of the better fluid shocks I've felt, honestly.
Gas charged shocks are going to be better for an offroad machine, but with my driving being mostly on the road with some offroad they're perfect.

Got a deal on them on sale at AutoAnything. You should be able to get the set of four for $150 or less.

Wow that's a really good price, I haven't seen any that cheap yet. It's between the Max's and the newer Rancho 5000x's. Both sound pretty similar in performance and since I can't afford over $400 in Bilsteins :( they will do just fine I'm sure. How well does the I4 handle the 4.10s and the 5 speed btw?

The ones I got were $165 for the set of four shipped to my door, just double checked my email.
You should be able to get them a bit less than that, I've seen them on better sales since I purchased in Feb.

The I4 with 4.10 gears and the 5 speed is an absolute blast. The gears are a bit short with the 235/75R15 tires, but it won't be long until I'm running 265/75R15 or 31x10.5R15.

Tires and rear leafs are on order... w00t! Cooper ATP 31x10.5R15 for me.

I'll be sure to take before and after measurements for hub to fender on the leafs since I don't think anyone has done these before and they should suffice as a cheap replacement set.

What leafs are you getting and how much? Mine are sagging and I need to upgrade.

If you check my thread about springs, there's a look to them in there. Not at my computer right now, I think part number 22-525 for a Chevy C10. Every dimension I can find matches up, but the load rating is higher (1290 vs 1200) and the arch is slightly taller. Price as MUCH cheaper than the Colorado part numbers.

Cool, thanks! I'm digging this build and all the info and part numbers you've added to it.

Glad you're liking it! I've enjoyed the process so far.
Might as well document everything, it'll help me later if something breaks and I need a replacement and others can easily see what worked and what didn't!

Also forgot to mention; about a month ago I did the blower motor resistor and harness fix. Super nice to have the #3 setting back!

This one is up next! It's annoying as crap on setting 1.

I'm thinking about a cover now. A few questions, where did you buy from, how easy or hard is the install. And finally was it reasonably priced.? thanks Liking the look and what you've done so far.

Put it on last night, it is SUCH A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT QUIETER on the highway doing 70-75 mph.

I bought from Amazon, prices range wildly based on exactly what you buy. This one is the Tonno Pro Lo-Roll, got it for $260 new.
Install of this one was a piece of cake, took me about thirty minutes by myself. Again, that will vary based on model.

Looks good! Did you install the leafs too?
Not yet, waiting to get it up to my family's place to use a lift instead of doing it in the driveway or garage.
Air tools + in-ground two post hydraulic lift = piece of cake :)

That should happen next weekend, getting it done before going offroading at the beach.

Lift is done! Now that everything has settled in some I'm sitting a hair under 23" on the front and 24" on the rear. Need to check the CV angles again though.
The rear springs worked out great, only two issues with them. First, the center bolt had to be changed out as it was indeed a different size. Second, there is no provision for attaching the parking brake cable, you'll have to fabricate something.

Pictures of the springs before/after:

And here's the truck, note the driveway does slope toward the front.

Then when making a run to Lowe's I found a 2WD Z85 to park beside!
