Which one is the correct rear shock for a 2-3" rear lift?

OrangeBeast88 said that he used RS999190 but according to the advanced auto website it says that they wont fit and that the upper and lower mounts are different. Their website says that RS999301 fits a 2.5" rear lift on a Colorado.

I don't NEED the extra length of the RS999190 but would rather be a little future proof in case I add a little more lift.

Well, I have 2" shackles and a 1" AAL and plan on replacing that 1" with a 2.5" leaf.

Well, decided to give the 999190's a shot. Probably won't be installing them for a few weeks but I'm excited to try them out.

I just installed these today. They are awesome! They are beefy as hell also. I took a few comparison pictures. I had one of the RS999301's because I had originally ordered them but one of them came with a broken adjustment knob. That was what prompted me re-thinking which shocks to get. I also compared them to the KYB GR2 that suspension maxx sent to me which was for a 2" lift rear.
