Have a question about lowering your truck? Don't know what parts are best for you or what combo you should go with?

All of that can be asked here, we have plenty of guys here that have done static drops from a mild 2/3 drop all the way to 5 1/2 / 7 drop here.

Need info on where to get drop parts? Brewer and Rshadd have both put together some great info in these 2 theads.

Air Shocks? Here's some good info and part numbers so you order the right one's.

The specs for the Monroe air shocks are:

ma762
Compressed Length 12.625 inches Extended Length 20.625 inches Travel 8.000 inches

ma759
Compressed Length 14.625 inches Extended Length 24.000 inches Travel 9.375 inches

Nice to have these threads all together. I am still trying to convince my self to lower my truck to about a 2/3 drop. Money just happens to get in the way!

It always does, 2/3 can be found pretty cheap if you go with coils and blocks. Problem with that is the 2/3 drops don't seam to last very long around here. :lol:

I'm thinking of replacing my BT balljoints and going with lowering struts. I will have to replace the LCAs because I had to hack off the OEM swaybar link mounts to install the BJs.. how tough is it to replace the LCAs?

Replacing them is easy, finding them is the hard part. I think Brewer was selling a set a while ago. Also The Wolf might still have a set if he didn't use them already. :shrug:

im in this exact same process right now so if you have some lca's let me know. otherwise i will be creating my own bracket to weld onto the lca.

If you going to lower more then 2" I'd highly recommend it.

I've had the JTR low pro cross member 05

I think you lasted a lot longer then me on that one. :lol:

I'm working on a poly bushing mod for the UCA and LCA.
