I have a 2007 Canyon and I want to install a remote start. The dealer will be doing this unless it's easy to do myself. My question is: I will be swapping In a limeswap tuned computer likely after the install is done. Will it affect anything? Should I do the computer swap after?

How hard are these to install? I've heard there are some issues on these trucks. Thanks

Remote start in a colorado can be a pain in the ass if you are a beginner.
The limeswap wont be affected.

I had my compustar remote start installed my an authorized compustar dealer and I am glad I did. It was in and out of the shop at least 10 times before they got it working perfectly.
That's not reassuring Lol. The gm dealer in my home town is a compustar dealer

I had my Viper remote start installed by a local reputable Viper dealer and I haven't had any issues.

I did have to make two visits back but that's because I decided to use the same ground point that they made for the remote start for an aftermarket gauge I installed. The problem? I forgot to to retighten the ground screw and it was causing the Remote Start to activate Passlock. But that was all my doing, not the remote start nor the shop's.
