Just wondering if anyone has removed the mirror glass....intentionally (LOL!) from a side power mirror to do a good paint job on the mirror. Is it possible without breaking the glass? Or the mechanism?

I did it when I installed some LED side marker turn signals on my mirrors. They come out pretty easily.
