A while back, I think it was Black Friday; I was out for a joy ride and going way too fast. (130mph in Mexico of course) and the damn passenger side DRL flew out of the grill.

No real damage. It left some marks on the fender, but they polished out pretty easy. I tried smacking it back into place and ended up busting the inner tab on the DRL.

So now I have another set of clear corners..

My drivers headlamp side fogs up pretty bad too and now has left streaks on the inside of the lens (which drive me up the wall). So this set fixes both problems. I think I'll run a bead of silicone around the edges of this set before I install them.

Is there any way you can post up a print out template for the ez down tail gate bracket?
And a parts list of what you used? I would love one with the type of work I do.

I use a lot of chop saws and carry tool bags all the time so it would nice to just pull the handle and let it drop nicely. I have to put stuff down all the time to open the gate without it slamming and pick everything back up again.

Yes. I got them from Scott McDonald on facebook. Thanks for looking out after me, I know you had better offer and still let me have them for a fair price.

I've had just about given up hope in finding a decent set. They are in good condition and should clean up nicely. Thanks again @Scottymac18.

I have new "Chevrolet" insert coming from GMParts Direct to replace the "GMC" logo.

It's a beautiful 70° day so I decided to install my new door sill.

I started by removing the GMC insert and sprayed some APC on the plastic and then gave it a good scrub. The trim was a bit faded

So I used some Solution Finish to restore it to like new condition.

The Solution Finish worked great and my sill come out looking like new. I was really impressed with this stuff. I should have bought a smaller bottle because a few drops applied with a sponge then a quick wipe is all it took. This 12 oz. bottle will do a parking lot full of faded trim.

After it was dry I reinstall the new Chevrolet insert that I bought.

Here's the door sill installed.
