I hate to see this. I have these exact lights going in the truck this weekend. I've used 3m super silicone with a syringe on the seam and waxed them. I'm not going to be pleased that if after all that a tab breaks on them.

Do you have any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening Rshadd? I recently put DRL covers in, and they are a tight fit. I may hold off on installing the DRL covers to keep pressure off the DRL lights.

Edit: I noticed the adjuster did not seal to the lights very tight. for better or worse I've put silicone around the whole mechanism.

On my DRL's the plastic spring clip never seemed to latch securely. A little nudge and they'd pop out. This time, I took a small square file and cut a sharp edge in them to help them latch better. Then I doubled-up with a big ole glob of silicone. They ain't popping out again.

I'm still a bit paranoid about washing the truck later today.

Got some new stickers for the truck today...



Current mileage.. 59,467 (I put on 1500 miles since last year)


Also changed the oil and filter with Mobile 1 and put on some fresh PIAA super silicone wiper blades.




It's alway weird watching someone else drive my truck.


While the truck was out getting inspected, I took the opportunity to scrub the garage floor.
