anybody know how to take out the "beeper" box thing that dings whenever your in the passengers seat with no seatbelt?? that thing pisses me the hell off..i know its a safety thing but i would like to take it out.

My grandpa had a jeep and he just grounded it. Not sure if it will work on our trucks

Im not sure if this would work but Ive thought of it.Go to a junkyard cut out some seatbelt buckles and snapem in so theyre technically buckled

well, there is a connector under the seat, if you disconnect that it will do it. HOWEVER, it disconnects the aibag as well.

there are 2 wires going into the seatbelt lock thingy. im thinking that when you lock the seatbelt into it, it creates a circuit or whatever you want to call it, and doesnt ding, if you were to cut those 2 wires and connect them together, i think it would solve it, but im not positive.

IMO best idea so far... other vehicle may work as well.

how about you just wear the seatbelt? lol

but yeah, keep in mind whatever you do will probably affect the airbag in some way.
